How Diamonds Are Being Created & Why Giving Up Isn’t An Option, If You Want To Succeed

Diamonds are being created out of carbon under high pressure and temperatures around 1,500°C / 2,700°F about 140 km / 90 miles below earth’s surface. Without these extreme conditions, they wouldn’t be created and wouldn’t be so extremely durable.

There are times, when life gets tough and pressure increases. Everything seems to go wrong and things don’t work out, as planned. The question is, how we react to those situations. Will we give up, surrender and collapse, sticking our heads into the ground, as ostriches do, when they feel insecure? Or will we hold our heads up high, looking for a solution and endure the pressure and unfortunate circumstances, until we manage to improve things? If we do the latter, we are like the carbon, on our way to become real diamonds. And after having become diamonds, we are working to improve ourselves, by cutting and polishing ourselves in order to become shiny and beautiful.

I am just thinking of the song “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, by Rodgers and Hammerstein:You'll Never Walk Alone

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark

At the end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown

Walk on walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone
You’ll never walk alone

If you are in a situation right now, where your circumstances are below your expectations and life seems unfair, don’t give up. Be greatful for an opportunity to grow and to become that shiny, beautiful diamond. Watch out for ways to improve yourself and your circumstances, so you can finally harvest that success, you are longing for.

Hold your head up high, as you walk through the storm and the fog. Don’t give up your self-esteem. Know who you are and what you are capable of. You are special and you are equipped with special talents, which you can discover and work on, in order to improve your situation. As you continue your journey through the heavy weather, keep your eye on the horizon, so you can see the first glimpses of that golden sky. This will motivate you, so it will get easier to endure, until you finally reach your goal.
